Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Surveyor, of unknown origin, who in 1751 prepared an estate map of Dromana, Co. Waterford, and the village of Villierstown, for John Villiers Stuart, first Earl Grandison. The Earl had built the village with a view to introducing linen manufacture there. The large map, which includes elevations of the buildings on the estate, was purchased by the Irish Architectural Archive in 1994 (Acc. 94/73).
