Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Architect, of Hill Street, Newry, listed as such in Pigot & Co.'s City of Dublin and Hibernian Provincial Directory (1824) though not in Bradshaw's General Directory… for 1820. James Boyd of Newry tendered unsuccessfully for the contract for building Armagh lunatic asylum in 1821(1) and may be the 'Mr Boyd of Newry' who designed a steeple for Caledon church.(2)
