Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Engineer, of Loughrea and Oughterard, Co. Galway, and later of Galway city. Maurice Sweeney was an assistant county surveyor for Co. Galway from 1915 or earlier until 1942 or later. He appears to have retired by 1947.

ICEI: elected associate member, 4 December 1933;(1) transferred to class of member, 3 February 1941.(2)
