Builder, of Dublin. According to the 1911 census, Peter Good was born in Co. Dublin in 1875 or 1876.   He and his elder brother JOHN GOOD  JOHN GOOD received their early training as builders under their uncle James Pile, who was one of the best-known Dublin building contractors of his day. John Good set up his own business in the 1890s and was joined by Peter in the opening years of the twentieth century. The firm of J. & P. Good developed into one of the leading contractors in Dublin and for many years had charge of the maintenance of all the Government's public buildings in the city.

Peter Good was drowned in Dublin Bay in the summer of 1932, when he fell overboard from his brother's yacht in heavy seas. He was buried in Mount Jerome Cemetery. As well as being an enthusiastic yachtsman, he was a keen golfer. Among the charities in which he interested himself were the Masonic Female Orphan School and the Old Men's Home in Northbrook Avenue.   At the time of the 1911 census he was unmarried and living in part of the same house as John.

Address: 56 Merrion Road, 1911.
