Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Carpenter and architect, of King Street, Oxmantown, Dublin, listed as such in Wilson's Dublin Directory for the years 1772-1775. Reilly's design for a Market House is described in the Freeman's Journal of 1-5 November 1768.(1) He is probably the 'Riely' who entered the Blue Coat Hospital competition in 1773.(2) A 'James Rielly' was admitted a freeman of the City of Dublin at Christmas 1781 as a member of the Guild of Carpenters by Grace Especial.(3)
