Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Carpenter's measurer and builder, of Dublin, active from 1781 or earlier until the early 1820s. From 1801 to 1819 he appears in Wilson's Dublin Directory as 'Annesley, James & Son'.  According to the recollections of his fellow tradesmen, writing in 1834,  Annesley 'Was in good business until shortly after 1800[,] declines & became a Measurer'.(1)
