Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Architect, of Galway, described as such in the Freeman's Journal, 27-30 June 1767. He may possibly be the same person as the Mr O'Connor, who, according to the pamphlet Observations on appropriating the Parliament House to the Bank of Ireland (1803), was brought from England by a 'noble lord' to superintend work in the west of Ireland and was the originator of the idea of 'Parke's piazza' (in front of the Parliament House?).
