Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Architect, of London and Charleston, South Carolina, who submitted two designs in the Dublin Royal Exchange competition of 1768-9.(1) Although his address was given as London, Naylor had apparently already emigrated to Charleston when the competition was held. He married Margaret, a daughter of SAMUEL CARDY SAMUEL CARDY , in Charleston on 3 March 1768, and their daughter Elizabeth Ann, was baptized on 10 January 1771. He died in Charleston on 19 October 1773.(2)
