Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Architect, of Dublin.   John Killinger is described as 'Architect' on his gravestone in Mount Jerome cemetery.   According to the Mount Jerome burial records,(1) he was born in 1761 and died in March 1837 at the age of seventy-six.  His address is given as Bloomfield House, South Circular Road.  He had a son, also named John Killinger, who may be  the John Killinger, architect, who is recorded in the directories at 31 Peter Street between 1839 and 1841.(2)
