Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Builder, of Goat Alley, Dublin, listed as such in Wilson's Dublin Directory for 1774.

According to Curran, there was a plasterer named John Keating who was active in Dublin in the 1680s and 1690s.(1) Curran also states that CHARLES THORP  CHARLES THORP was apprenticed to a John Keating. Another John Keating was admitted a freeman of Dublin at Michaelmas 1786 as a member of the Plasterers' Guild by virtue of birth.(2)
