Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Civil engineer, of Naas, Co. Kildare, and Ballybay, Co. Monaghan.   According to the 1911 census, Francis Keelaghan was born in Co. Monaghan in 1880 or 1881.   At the time of the 1911 census he was town surveyor for Naas, Co. Kildare, and was living in the town as an unmarried boarder.  Between 1911 and 1914 he was responsible for erecting artisans' dwellings in Ballybay, Co. Monaghan.(1)
