Architect, of London, for whom see Directory of British Architects 1834-1914 (RIBA 2001), I, 1009. James Walter James became a partner of John Belcher, junior, who designed a number of churches for the Catholic Apostolic Church, of which he was a member. James designed the Catholic Apostolic Church in Cromwell Road, Belfast, which was opened in 1885.(1)
