Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Daniel Hutton was awarded a premium by the Dublin Society's School of Drawing in Architecture in 1775.(1) A person of the same name was a builder in Dublin in the first quarter of the nineteenth century. Daniel Hutton, builder, appears in Wilson's Dublin Directory at 65 Great Britain Street in 1804-9, at 69 Great Britain Street in 1810-14 and at 20 Mary Street in 1815-23. He was a representative of the Guild of Carpenters on the Common Council of the City of Dublin from 1808 until 1817.(2)
