Architect, of Liverpool, for biography of whom see Howard Colvin, A Biographical dictionary of British architects 1600-1840 (4th edn., 2008), 536. With his brother Samuel (1737-1770ca) he entered a design in the Dublin Royal Exchange competition, which was won by THOMAS COOLEY. (1)
