Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Builder(?), of Dublin, responsible for works by all trades for Thomas Mangan in King Street in 1790 and for Humphrey Butler at his new offices in Merrion Square, which were measured by Bryan Bolger in 1792.(1) A John Haydon was admitted to the Dublin Society's School of Drawing in Architecture on 1 February 1776,(2) and a John Heyden became a Freeman of the City of Dublin at Midsummer 1802 as a member of the Guild of Carpenters, having duly served his apprenticeship to a Dublin Freeman of the same trade.(3)
