Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Sculptor, of Paris, whose statue of Jesus in the Garden of Olives was bought at the Dublin Exhibition of 1852 by a committee of gentlemen and presented to BARTHOLOMEW ESMONDE  BARTHOLOMEW ESMONDE for the church of St Francis Xavier in Upper Gardiner Street. The statue, which was awarded a gold medal at the Paris Salon of 1848, and signed and inscribed Dieudonné Sculpt. Paris, Medaille d'or 1 classe, 1848.(1)
