Donnelly Moore and Keefe had all served in the war; before this Donnelly and Moore had been partners, as had also Keefe and Robinson. In the spring of 1919, the four men took an office in American Chambers, 14 Lower Sackville Street. In the same year they won first prize in Section B of the RIAI housing competition. They were joined by WILLIAM SEDGWICK KEATINGE WILLIAM SEDGWICK KEATINGE in 1920. According to the brief biography of Robinson which appeared in the AAI Green Book for 1921-1922 on the occasion of his becoming president, 'one of the unwritten laws in connection with this partnership is that, though the members may collaborate, the personality of each is to be preserved and allowed adequate opportunities of expressing itself'. The partnership lasted until 1925, when Keefe and Robinson set up their own practice in Merrion Square, leaving Donnelly, Moore and Keatinge in the Sackville Street office. Pupils and assistants in the office included STEPHEN STANISLAUS KELLY. STEPHEN STANISLAUS KELLY.
